The Lebanon community came together Saturday for a clean-up day.   All the town departments helped with the event and several full dump trucks of trash, appliances, tires and other debris were removed from the roadway.  The clean up was sponsored by the Selectmen, Lebanon Rescue, Transfer Station, Road Crews and Recreation Department.    Lebanon Rescue handed out more then 400 gloves to families.  Rescue volunteers, the Lebanon Librarian, the Lebanon Fire department  and the Lebanon Daisy Scouts all took part cleaning various areas of the town.   In addition, nearly 75 families from each section of town hit the streets and went through about 250 bags that were provided to them for clean up.    The Selectmen would like to continue this event every spring.
