Sanford police look for robbery suspect | News
SANFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Sanford Police are asking for the publics help in finding a bank robber. The York County Credit Union, on 870 Main Street, was robbed Thursday afternoon.
Sanford Police say male subject entered the credit union and demanded money from a teller, but did not show a weapon. Police say the man fled on foot with an unknown amount of money.
The man is described as a white male, heavy set, in his late 20's, with facial hear, and approximately 6 feet tall wearing a hooded brown sweatshirt with a diamond pattern. He was also wearing a black hat, and sunglasses.
Sanford Police as that if anyone has information to contact the Sanford Police Department at 207-324-9170 and select option 4.
