Police make arrest in drugstore robbery

SANFORD, Maine (AP) -- A Maine man is facing charges after being apprehended by police following a drug store robbery in Springvale in which the suspect used a note to demand prescription drugs.

Sanford Police say that shortly after the 5:16 p.m. Tuesday robbery, 26-year-old Travis Bentley of Sanford was apprehended driving a car witnesses saw following the robbery.

Police say they do not believe Bentley was armed. And the note thought to have been used in the robbery was recovered.
