ALFRED, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The prosecution is expected to wrap up its case in the Gary Traynham trial tomorrow. 

Traynham is the man from Sanford who touched off the state's first Amber Alert when he took his two year old daughter from the girl's mother in November 2009.

He is not facing any charges in conenction with the Amber Alert.

He is charged with four counts for allegedly beating and raping the child's mother, his former girlfriend Lisa Gould.

Gould is expected to take the stand tomorrow.

Traynham's attorney claims Gould provoked the confronation and that the evidence will show that Traynham did not sexually assault Gould.
